Hello Readers of "His Kindness Year Round"!

All believers have been blessed with talents, abilities and gifts from our Heavenly Father. Two dear friends in Durham have the extraordinary gift of giving of themselves and sharing comfort and care to others. They are priceless servants of our Lord.

“Chaplain Ralph” and his wife, Carter, established Emergency Chaplains after receiving the calling from God. Years prior, God called Ralph to leave his job and pursue full time ministry. Both Ralph and Carter are well prepared with years of training and years of experience in dealing with people who are in need of chaplaincy and counseling.

The primary responsibility of Emergency Chaplains is to provide chaplaincy comfort, care and counseling, 24/7, to first responders of any public safety agency, mostly (at this time) in the Durham County area.

Through God’s divine guidance and their obedience to Him, the ministry has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years. Praise God! The need for these services to first responders is vast. The duties each chaplain on the team provides is beyond measure. From having a father who was a first responder for over 30 years and co-workers and friends in the same capacity, I, personally, am grateful for the services of all the Emergency Chaplains. I thank God for their obedience in His calling each of them into the ministry.

Check out the website at www.echap.org or face book as Emergency Chaplains.

I’ll share what the Emergency Chaplains website affirms:

1 Corinthians 1:3-4 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”

Prayerfully, your sister in Him,

Robin

    1. Hi Anne,

There are wonderful ministries, as you well know, right in our back yard! I'll be introducing more within the next few weeks. There are articles and posts from the ministry websites that I will be referencing from time to time and I'd like the audience to know a bit about them. Thanks for your support and encouragement, as always,

Blessings to you today and ALWAYS!
      Robin
